We create 3-D models of precast units in Tekla for use by the contractor. The precast contractor can be confident in the accuracy of the model, allowing for the prompt creation of shop drawings. The model can also be used for quantity take-offs, tracking, scheduling and coordination. In addition, the steel fabricator is able to use the precast model for coordination with steel for items such as bearing plate locations and coordination with steel connections.
