Billy Tse, a key member of the firm’s Pacific Rim team, has nearly 15 years of experience in structural engineering design, analysis and management for a variety of building types. He is responsible for all phases of project design and planning, coordination with architects, clients and consultants and quality control.

Since joining Thornton Tomasetti in 2004, Billy has played an integral role in the structural design of many large-scale projects. These include the 632-meter Shanghai Tower, China’s tallest building and the second tallest in the world; the 660-meter Ping An International Finance Center, now under construction in Shenzhen, China; the 600-plus-meter Wuhan Greenland Center, also in China; and CityCenter Las Vegas, a 20-million-square-foot hotel and casino complex in Nevada. His portfolio also features residential, institutional, sports, education and aviation projects.

Outside of Work
Billy lives in Long Island, New York, with his wife and two young sons. The family enjoys biking together, and Billy is teaching his sons about the importance of having a strong foundation when building structures with LEGOs.
