Brent G. Vollenweider

About

Brent Vollenweider specializes in structural engineering and physical security design for buildings. He has extensive experience designing reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete and structural steel structures for public agencies and private clients. Brent’s project management experience covers a wide range of building types, construction delivery methods and overall construction cost. His project credits include more than 10 U.S. embassies worldwide, facilities for Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Cornell University and the David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care, a $1-billion-plus development of two adjacent high-rise towers, totaling 1.1 million square feet the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and City University of New York in Manhattan. In addition to his design skills, Brent has significant experience in a variety of forensic engineering projects, including the collapse of the Tropicana Resort and Casino Parking Garage in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
