About

Michael Gerasopoulos has more than two decades of structural design and project management experience. As a leader in our Renewal practice, Mike supervises engineering teams in the renovation and rehabilitation of primarily commercial buildings while coordinating with owners, property managers, architects and contractors. He has an extensive background in the modernization, stabilization and alteration of existing structures, condition assessments of structural systems, feasibility studies, due diligence and peer review. Mike is also skilled in new design, such as tenant fit-outs installations, and the investigation of structural failures. His body of work is almost exclusively in the New York metropolitan area and encompasses steel-framed, reinforced concrete, wood and masonry structures. His project portfolio involves some of city’s most notable buildings, including 767 Fifth Ave. (GM Building), 601 Lexington Ave. (Citicorp Building), 30 Hudson Yards and World Financial Center Buildings 1, 2, 3 and 4. He was also a member of our World Trade Center disaster response team following the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
