Warren has been practicing the Japanese martial art of Aikido for nearly 20 years.

Warren Pottebaum has more than 15 years of experience in structural analysis, design and project management for new buildings as well as structural and seismic upgrades. His portfolio includes healthcare and educational projects, in addition to commercial and municipal buildings.

Healthcare Expertise
Warren’s knowledge of healthcare facilities is vast, and he has multiple new construction, retrofit and renovation projects for healthcare system clients to his credit. He has extensive experience with inpatient California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) projects, as well as outpatient projects.

Contributing to the Profession
Warren is the author of numerous professional papers and presentations for the Structural Engineers Association of California (SEAOC), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and Structural Engineer magazine.

Outside of Work
In his free time, Warren practices Tomiki-style Aikido, a Japanese martial art. Since 2001, he has been a sensei (instructor) at a Bay Area dojo, where he teaches classes twice a week.
