Located in East Hollywood, a five-story mixed-use apartment building provides contemporary affordable housing to an under-served Los Angeles market. The LEED Gold, 66,000-square-foot development features 40 units, a landscaped roof deck, meeting room, computer room, laundry facility and children’s play area.
We provided structural design services to Y&M Architects for the project, which includes one level below grade for parking, a ground level with parking and retail, and four stories of residential units above.

- Based on the soil report, we designed a foundation consisting of conventional reinforced concrete spread and continuous footings.
- The structure comprises four stories of wood-framed residential construction above a ground-floor concrete podium.
