Frank Fierro has some four decades of experience providing design, construction support and resident engineering services and is responsible for the growth of those services across the firm. Frank is skilled in providing construction engineering for long-span bridges where so many challenging issues are encountered. He has been serving as the resident engineer for the Tappan Zee Bridge in Tarrytown for the New York State Thruway Authority (NYSTA) since 1992, and has worked on several projects for the NYSTA, all related to the Tappan Zee Bridge as well as being involved in the slab replacements and repairs on the New England Thruway. Frank has applied his considerable experience to the design of other long-span structures in the New York metropolitan area, including the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge, Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, and several arterial bridges throughout Brooklyn and Queens boroughs. He has led construction inspection and support teams for numerous bridge and highway rehabilitation projects. His work also includes all-electronic tolling conversion projects in Westchester County, New York.
