Cipriani Residences Miami has topped out at 950 feet, making it the tallest residential building south of Manhattan and the tallest tower in Florida. Designed by Arquitectonica, with Thornton Tomasetti as structural engineer and providing threshold inspection services, the luxury residential tower brings 397 condominium residences to Miami's Brickell neighborhood.
Thornton Tomasetti's structural design uses reinforced concrete and post-tensioned slabs while reusing existing foundation piles to improve construction efficiency. The team also incorporated a belt wall and column overbuild to manage torsional lean and settlement as the tower reached its full height.
The new Cipriani Residences Miami adds a distinctive new landmark to one of Brickell's fastest-growing neighborhoods, with first occupancy expected in summer 2027.
