Maryam Tabbakhha specializes in computational analysis and forensic engineering for complex, safety-critical structures and systems at Thornton Tomasetti. She applies advanced finite element and multiphysics modeling, seismic analysis, soil– and fluid–structure interaction, and nonlinear and dynamic approaches to evaluate structural behavior, performance, and risk. She investigates failures and assesses structural integrity in industrial facilities, tanks, silos, bridges, and other specialized structures. Her work also supports the nuclear and advanced reactor sectors, including small modular reactors, floating and maritime nuclear applications, and systems exposed to interacting seismic, fluid, environmental, and other extreme loads.
