Massimiliano Galassi is an architect at Thornton Tomasetti, specializing in façade and roof restoration and renewal, as well as inspections and reporting required by New York City’s Façade Inspection & Safety Program (FISP). His work includes façade restoration and recladding, terra-cotta restoration, roof replacement, and investigations related to existing-building and building-envelope conditions. Massimiliano has worked on projects ranging from single-family buildings to multibuilding complexes throughout the New York metropolitan area. His experience also includes representing clients in construction litigation and coordinating with regulatory agencies and municipal entities, including the New York City Department of Buildings, Landmarks Preservation Commission, and Department of Transportation.
