Ford’s Blue Oval City in Stanton, Tennessee, will be a battery manufacturing campus in which Ford will develop its first carbon-neutral vehicle. The ambitious project, spanning 3,600 acres, promises significant job creation and environmental innovation. It will include three concrete plants, two water towers, a direct rail line and its own electric substation.
We provided erection engineering services to Red Cedar Steel on the switchgear buildings and the final assembly building. Our scope of work included an engineered stability plan outlining the steel erection sequence.
