Overview

With views of downtown Houston, Rice University, Herman Parka and Texas Medical Center, the Village at Southampton provides a welcomed addition to the senior living options for prospective residents who want to stay in the neighborhood and be close to families and friends. The facility provides hotel-like amenities, including indoor heated pool and spa, a fitness center, a movie theater, full-service salon, outdoor terraces, secured garage parking for residents and guests, valet and concierge services, and formal and private dining.

We provided structural design services to Paul Ryan Design Group for the luxury senior community, which opened in 2019.

Highlights

• The 17-story, 340,000-square-foot structure is constructed using post-tensioned concrete slabs and reinforced concrete shear walls.
• The foundation system is composed of auger cast piles.
