Our People: 2025 Corporate Progress Report

At Thornton Tomasetti, we continue to be committed to building our inclusive culture where a diverse group of colleagues can come together, learn, grow, and thrive. As part of this commitment to our culture, we provided 20 inclusive culture education sessions including virtual Inclusion Webinars available to all staff and interactive, in-person Inclusion Dialogues where select small groups came together to learn about and share their perspectives on topics that help our people across offices, regions and practices understand and engage with one another more inclusively. 2025 topics included: Building Inclusive Behaviors, Cultivating Psychological Safety at Work, Empathy at Work, Understanding and Mitigating Biases, Communicating Inclusively, and Managing Diverse Teams.

Our Employee Network Groups or ENGs bring together diverse groups of TT employees for community building, networking, and development. Through our three ENGs, Women@TT, MOSAIC, and Spectrum, we seek to nurture a respectful, rewarding, and inclusive environment where everyone can experience a sense of belonging. In the spirit of inclusivity, we welcome all individuals across the firm. 

In 2025, we estimate close to 70% of employees participated in the ENGs. All ENGs came together to collaborate on our POD (promoting open dialogues) groups which engaged approximately 100 people in discussions.

In our annual employee survey, we asked the question, “Does someone at the firm encourage your development?” The answer for 83% of our employees was “agree” or “strongly agree” on a 5-point scale. Encouragement can come in many ways: informally from a colleague, from a supervisor, or through our formal mentorship program. On a related note, 82% of our people feel their perspective is included in decision making that affects their work.

Our employee survey indicated why 89% of our employees say that they are proud to work at the firm. Throughout our recent employee survey, results show that most of our people feel positive about their work experience. Almost all - 95% -of our people would recommend the firm as a great place to work. Over 85% of our people feel passionate about the work they do at the firm, feel engaged by their work, and find that their individual talents and unique perspective are valued by colleagues.
