San Francisco Senior Associate Abena Darden knows a lot about wineries, more specifically how to reduce their carbon footprint. She spoke recently with Wine Enthusiast about why wineries around the world are constructing more green facilities, notably by swapping traditional concrete with more carbon-friendly alternatives. “Reduction efforts can create a ripple effect, and when manufacturers lower the carbon footprint of their concrete, reductions can happen at scale,” Darden said.
