Ramin Behboudi

About

Ramin Behboudi has more than two decades of experience providing consulting in acoustics, noise and vibration control design and analysis for a wide range of projects. In addition to his extensive portfolio of work in the power generation sector, he has designed tuned mass damper systems (TMDs) for several of the world’s best-known public assembly structures. His expertise includes design and analysis for projects related to transportation, convention centers, manufacturing, retail, office, cultural, sports and educational spaces. Ramin has a keen interest in testing, signal processing and custom-designed data acquisition and processing applications. He has been heavily involved in developing and implementing new acoustic and vibration measurement techniques. As well as writing project-specific applications, Ramin has conducted research into high-performance industrial silencers and enclosures and the design and testing of tuned mass dampers for numerous projects.

Ramin was solely responsible for the successful design and implementation of a 64-channel permanent vibration monitoring system at Soldier Field Stadium in Chicago, Illinois.
