Kenny Teeter provides sustainability consulting at Thornton Tomasetti, specializing in energy resilience and decarbonization at the building and campus scales. He helps owners develop practical electrification pathways for existing buildings, integrating energy analytics, net zero strategy, and distributed-energy resource optimization to reduce carbon emissions and improve occupant comfort.
Kenny’s work includes renewable-energy system analysis, microgrid feasibility and design, and electrification assessment and strategy development for grid-independent and grid-interactive facilities. His energy master planning and energy transition consulting solutions minimize energy demand, enhance utility infrastructure resilience, and focus critical backup power on the systems and functions that matter most. He also supports portfolio-level strategy and reporting and leads stakeholder-engagement programs and workshops that turn complex decarbonization and energy engineering concepts into clear, phased steps for implementation.
