Rising 40 stories in Uptown Charlotte, Duke Energy Plaza is the fifth-tallest building in the area. The company consolidated multiple office sites into this single location, which will house approximately 4,000 employees. The new headquarters stands on the former site of a surface parking lot on South Tryon Street, across from the former Duke Energy Center. This new headquarters reflects Duke Energy’s commitment to efficiency, consolidation and urban development in Charlotte.
We provided erection engineering services to Superior Rigging & Erecting for the intricate steel framing for cladding support at the signature crown of this 40-story high rise in the heart of downtown Charlotte.
