During his career at Thornton Tomasetti, Kevin Jackson has worked on a diverse array of projects, including condition assessments, failure investigations, structural renovations and repairs, peer reviews and litigation support. He is experienced in condition assessments of mid- and high-rise buildings following earthquakes, as well as those damaged by fires, tornadoes and vehicular impacts. His forensic experience includes investigations into roof and stage collapses, roof deflations and façade defects. Among his more notable renovation and adaptive reuse projects are the overclad of an existing high-rise office building, design of a residential tower on an existing parking structure and the renovation of a 1920s office building to accommodate residential units and parking.
