He has considerable experience in diverse aspects of structural engineering analysis and design across all building types. Nicolas specializes in forensic and damage assessment projects. His expertise includes cause and origin investigations, condition assessments, scope of damage evaluation, remedial design of existing buildings and bridges and emergency response. He provides pre- and post-loss services to insurance companies and their representative attorneys and adjusters. Nicolas is also an expert witness and provides litigation support services.
