Retained for the planning, engineering and deconstruction for 130 Liberty Street, which was significantly damaged during the September 11, 2001 attacks.
Designed by Shreve, Lamb, and Harmon, 130 Liberty Street opened in 1974 as Bankers Trust Plaza and was later renamed when Deutsche Bank acquired the financial institution. Located adjacent to the World Trade Center, the 42-story office building was significantly damaged and contaminated by the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
We were retained to provide structural design services related to the planning, engineering and deconstruction for the building, which completed in 2011.
