An Elegant Façade Design For A Taiwanese High Rise
The sixth tallest building in Taiwan when complete, Fubon Xinyi A25 will include retail and office space, a rooftop events space, hotel, banquet hall, museum and an outside public garden.
We are providing façade consulting and specialty façade analysis to Renzo Piano Building Workshop for the corporate headquarters for the Fubon Financial Holding Company.
Highlights
- In response to the challenging climate in Taipei, we are engineering the external façades as a double skin wall by optimising the work provided by Renzo Piano Building Workshop for The Shard in London.
- The façades will be designed to withstand high seismic and wind loads.
- We are also evaluating closed cavity façades by reviewing the market and commercially available systems that are able to address demanding project conditions.
- Fubon Xinyi A25 is located a few blocks away from Taipei 101, for which Thornton Tomasetti provided structural design, peer view and constructability review services.
