New York City’s famed Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts is kicking off a $335-million transformation of the west side of its 16-acre campus. The project will feature a new 2,000-seat outdoor stage, community park spaces and welcoming entrances. The new performance venue will replace the current Guggenheim band shell and provide expanded theater support spaces, outdoor seating and a concession counter. The re-imagined plaza will include new public amenities, landscape structures and a water feature to support outdoor performances and overall increased public use.
We are providing structural design and façade engineering as well as renewal and waterproofing services to Lincoln Center. The project team includes design architect WEISS/MANFREDI, architect of record Moody Nolan, Hood Design Studio landscape architects and pre-construction manager Turner Construction Company.
