Director
Callum specializes in underwater shock testing, shock and vibration measurement, and the delivery of complex experimental programs for defense and commercial assets. He designs and delivers shock qualification programs for mission-critical systems, applying expertise in advanced data acquisition and analysis, instrumentation and measurement systems, structural dynamics, modal analysis, and vibration mitigation.
At Thornton Tomasetti, Callum contributes to defense R&D and engineering projects. His work helps ensure that equipment can withstand demanding underwater explosion scenarios. He also helped invent the innovative Hummingbird tuned mass damper system and played a key role in its first application in a U.K. high-rise residential tower, where the technology enhanced occupant comfort and structural performance.
