Is there anything better than standing on the roof of a building that you designed?

Brian is a member of Thornton Tomasetti’s Forensics practice. He has more than 15 years of experience in structural design, assessment and investigation across all project sizes and types. Brian has collaborated with such architects as HOK, Perkins+Will, HDR, KMD and WRNS on projects throughout California.

Healthcare and Forensics Expertise
While Brian’s background is concentrated in new building design and existing building renovations for the healthcare market, he also has experience in a broad range of market sectors, including commercial and life sciences. Brian’s favorite part of design jobs is collaborating with other team members in the field, which he does on a regular basis

Outside of Work
Brian and his family live in Castro Valley, California, where his wife teaches eighth grade. While Brian didn’t grow up a baseball fan, his two boys’ infectious enthusiasm for the game has completely changed that. His new-found appreciation for the sport has made it much more enjoyable to watch their four games a week! Brian follows his beloved University of Arizona Wildcats men’s basketball team and cheers them on deep into March. Although his golf game has steadily declined over the last several years, he is proud to have played the Old Course at St. Andrews and five U.S. Open venues.
