Jeff led the structural design of Block 21, a 1-million-square-foot development in Texas that includes the theatre for TV music program “Austin City Limits.”

Jeffery Elliott is the leader of Thornton Tomasetti’s Dallas office. He has 13 years of experience in structural engineering for new buildings and renovation/expansion projects. He has extensive expertise in design for healthcare, mixed use, hospitality, commercial and residential properties, in addition to a number of higher education projects including several at Southern Methodist University.

Honors and Articles
In 2011, Jeff was named to Engineering News-Record Texas and Louisiana magazine’s “Top 20 Under 40,” a list of construction and design professionals under the age of 40 who are making their mark on the industry and within their communities. He was noted for a being a driving force among his peers, demonstrating leadership and technical excellence.

He is the co-author of  “Moody’s New Magic,” an article on the renovation and expansion of the Southern Methodist University Moody Coliseum, published in Civil Engineering magazine in 2014. The coliseum is just one of more than 10 projects that he has overseen for the institution.

Outside of Work
A Texas resident since high school, Jeff lives in a very busy household in the Dallas area with his wife and five wonderful kids.
