Matt Kuba specializes in façade engineering at Thornton Tomasetti, designing exterior wall systems that balance structural efficiency, aesthetics, and thermal performance, and performs forensic investigations of building façades. With expertise in the evaluation and performance of glass systems, structural analysis and design, and finite element modeling, he develops innovative structural glass systems, cable and ETFE façades, and steel specialty structures.

Matt leads teams for new design, repositioning, and façade forensics projects for a wide variety of client and building types in both the private and public sectors, including towers, infrastructure, and U.S. embassy projects around the world. He collaborates with owners, architects, other design consultants, and contractors to develop practical solutions that efficiently address project objectives, performance requirements, and challenging façade conditions.
