Jeffrey Hu has extensive experience in the design, analysis and inspection of bridge structures and underground transit stations. He has worked on projects at New York City’s major crossings, including the Verrazzano-Narrows, Bronx-Whitestone, Manhattan, Brooklyn, Williamsburg, Queensboro and George Washington bridges as well as other medium- and short-span conventional bridge structures. He also manages the design of highway bridges. Jeff specializes in bridge and facilities inspections, and oversees the firm’s bridge condition inspection group, which is responsible for numerous biennial, interim, special and in-depth evaluations. His clients include the New York State and City Departments of Transportation, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and MTA Bridges and Tunnels. Jeff has also supervised inspection projects at the Staten Island Ferry transfer bridge, the Bronx Zoo monorail and Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York.
